US Patent No. 11,413,237 B2 (Ming Chen, Dexiang Wang, Chunyun Liu, Saiman Zhang, Chi Zhang); Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, has patented a “skin penetration enhancing composition” comprising: sponge spicules and nanoparticles. The the sponge spicules are derived from Haliclona sp., and the nanoparticles are comprised of flexible nanoliposomes and at least one of: one or more drugs, or one or more cosmetic active ingredients....
